Here's the planned itinerary for 2010. Subject to change (but not much). UPDATED Feb. 10th - added new discovery (to me)Aquileia to March 15th.

Yearly booking-of-Pisa ritual

Today marks 45 days until we visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. How do I know this? While most tours simply take you to the outside of the tower to admire its lack-of-collapsing, our tour takes you up its crooked staircase to the top to really get a sense of the danger. In order to do this, tickets have to be reserved well in advance - actually, 45 days exactly in advance. All sorts of reminders (office calendar, ipod calendar, google calendar) to "Book Pisa" came to my attention today, and I got it done - a maximum of 10 tickets 20 minutes apart from each other. 4 of us are going to hope that there are a few extra spaces when we get there since it only let me book 50 tickets. Shouldn't be a problem! Here's our puny group of 52 last year.
Europe 2010 - 52 days to go
This is the place where you can follow our adventures through Western and Eastern Europe this March.
Right now, it's Sunday afternoon, and I'm sitting in my kitchen listening to some Vivaldi and sending final confirmations to our hotels/hostels, creating a supervision schedule for our parent chaperones, and considering some of our options for sites to visit in Prague.
In 52 days, I will be on a plane with Ms. Vogt and 52 Fundy kids and parents. Coincidence? Yes.
